Kalawashaq’ was a small winery operated by Tara Gomez of Paso Robles, CA. Tara named the winery with respect to her ancestry. The Chumash Indians of Kalawashaq’ village. Kalwashaq’ translates to “shell of the turtle”. I created this symbolized logo representing the tribe.
